Adjustable Temperature Sensor |
| The adjustable temperature sensor can be placed up to 2000 feet away from the tattletale base unit. The sensor is designed to trigger an alarm if the ambient temperature rises above your set high temperature or below your set low temperature. The unit has a high range of 299° F and a low range of -58° F. In addition, the sensor can be programmed to a supervised 24-hour zone to notify the central station whether or not unit is armed. Smoke Detector |
| The remote Smoke Detector can be placed up to 2000 feet away from the tattletale unit depending on structures and objects in-between the smoke detector and the tattletale. It uses photoelectric technology to detect smoke (not heat) and it continually monitors its own sensitivity and operational status. The tattletale does not need to be armed to send a smoke alarm. Rate of Rise Detector |
| The Rate of Rise sensor can be placed up to 2000 feet away from the tattletale unit depending on structures and objects in-between the sensor and the tattletale. It uses two forms of detection. The first monitors how quickly the temperature rises; a 15°F change in ambient temperature, in a period of 60 seconds or less, triggers an alarm event. The second method of detection is when the ambient temperature reaches a level of 194°F. This will also trigger an alarm event. The 3V lithium battery included will typically last for 2-3 years.
